Philosophy of Service
Don McGuire grew up during the Great Depression.
He was naturally mechanically inclined even though he never went to college. He worked for both SKF and Bearing Sales and Service before opening McGuire Bearing Company in 1954. He loved solving problems for customers and recommending better products and procedures that saved them time and money.
He searched the world for products that would bring his customers more value.
In his mind, “The customer was king”, and his policies were all designed to make it easier for the customer to do business with McGuire Bearing.
He retired as president of McGuire Bearing in 1977 and passed away in 1995.
When he started McGuire Bearing, Don wanted it to remain a family business that would stay in the family for many generations. Our family is carrying Don’s passion for customer service forward today and into the future.
