The Technical Writer is responsible for generating process documentation and resources related to process development, job descriptions and role-based training guidelines related to organizational development, and SOPs in alignment with stakeholder requests. This role facilitates technical communication related to training development as requested. This is a full-time, entry-level position. The Technical Writer reports to the Organizational Development Manager.
Responsibilities
General Employee Responsibilities:

- Each employees’ job description is not all-encompassing. Every employee is expected to perform any task as directed by their manager or supervisor.
- Every employee is expected to comply with all company rules including the Employee Handbook, Safety Policy, and Quality Manual.
- Every employee will be assigned regular working hours. However, each employee will be expected to be flexible and work overtime with little or no notice to meet customer requirements.
- Employees are not allowed to operate any vehicles, forklifts, or shop equipment unless authorized to do so.
- Maintain a high level of cooperation between all external and internal customers.
Technical Writer Responsibilities:
- SOP creation and documentation of existing processes
- Subject Matter Expert interviews to gather source material
- Coordination of the system for auditing and updating process documentation
- HubSpot task descriptive content for new automations
- Workflow documentation, process resources (cheat sheets, guides, templates)
- Role-based training guidelines in collaboration with the training department
- Job description drafts for new roles required by scaling plans
- Other administrative tasks as assigned

- This is a Full-time position.
- Hours are generally 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
Some basic experience writing fact-based information
Ability to work with Google Suite, Asana, and similar programs
SKILLS + OTHER ATTRIBUTES
Comfortable writing in a conversational style or demonstrated writing aptitude Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
Able to write coherently with good spelling and grammar
Willingness to learn from constructive feedback
Self-directed and willing to ask questions
Strong communication and organizational skills
Critical thinking skills including the ability to identify gaps in information provided by subject matter experts
Ability to observe processes and follow lines of inquiry with subject matter experts Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work under pressure
